LRW: The Local Reality Warp
Einstein dicovered that space and time are not absolute, but can be warped or dilated locally. It’s my belief that all of what we considerto be “reality” is similarly subject to warping or dilation-locally or universally. It’s real, and has fixed laws and principles, but it isn’t absolute in the sense of being unchangeable.
I’ve invented the term above to explain some of the unexplained in our world. We as humans can’t directly change reality or negate the laws of nature, though some false teachers in the Christian world and in other religious persuasions and philosophies are claiming we can…but God can.
God designed the parameters of our physical and spiritual universe, and controls and maintains them. He is able to suspend them at will, since He is not subject to the constraints of time and space or any of the many physical dimensions. They are subject to His will. In this regard, I’ve noticed throughout my life a few odd things going on, which can only happen if the fabric of reality can be and is altered locally, by Him or by His spiritual servants.
I’m not excluding true coincidence here. Yes, God does direct or orchestrate many events in life and in our world-but not all. Neither does He often erase the consequences of our actions.
LRW explains the unexplainable events attributed to Murphy’s/ Sod’s Law, though it must be said that many events we attribute to such oddities are in truth natural, and we percieve them wrongly. LRW makes room for local, temporary and personal impositions of the Curse in ways we don’t expect, and for providencial events and outcomes for our benefit which otherwise would not happen. It also explains the kind of miracles Jesus Christ did on the earth. He was able to suspend, change and otherwise tinker with reality, since He created it, and upholds it:
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together (Colossians 1:15-17).
Prayer changes things, our Bible tells us. I don’t subscribe to the arrogant notion that we have the power to negate the laws of nature directly by our spoken word or in any other way, but God can and will if it’s within His plan. God is the miracle worker and we can only ask that He works for us: we have no power of our own. Therefore, when we pray from a contrite heart for something within His will, we are requesting a Local Reality Warp. For those of you who think I’m trying to create a new cult based on this theory-forget it. While I’m totally serious about the warping of reality, the LRW term is just a bit of fun. Remember “fun”? Look it up in the dictionary.

You need an account and a password for everything these days. The time will come when you will have to log in in order to wake up and get out of bed. Only the truly Woke and those who’ve paid all their taxes will be able to log in. If you forget your password you’re really out of luck.
Jesus Smith
Oprah said of “The Chosen” Jesus that he is “universal”. Even if this were not the intention of the producers, that’s the image being received. But Jesus can only be “universal” if he is all things to all men. This requires another Jesus-not the Jesus of the Bible, because the Jesus of the Bible said:
āEnter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).
Flies
I’ve been studying flies and mosquitos, and I’ve noticed that many of them (not all) are clever enough to sneek up behind you and bite the back of you, often unseen and unreachable. This means either that they were programmed from their creation to trick you – and so a function innate since the Curse – or they have the intelligence to think it through. In this case they’re far more incredible than we’ve given them credit for.
Adventure
I saw a bumper sticker on a motorcycle which thrilled me. It read:
ADVENTURE BEFORE DEMENTIA.
RUA Chimp?
If you are one of the many who have been led to believe that your DNA is 98.5% similar to that of chimps, you should know that the claim has been debunked. It’s a lie to support the theory of evilution. Find some great info on the subject on the videos noted below. As Joey Ramone said (though for a different reason) “I don’t have a monkey’s brain… I am not an animal…”
My Investments
I’m invested in Jesus Christ, and in heaven. That’s where my heart is, my hope, my peace, my future, many of my loved ones, and my Maker.
There’s no changing my mind; no dithering, and no looking back. I’m heading for home. Glory to God!
Warped or Upright: Your Choice
We humans are warped and twisted. If you refuse to acknowledge that fact, you will never grow up and you will never be able to adequately explain your own mistakes and sins or those of anyone else. Neither will you be able to humble yourself before your creator-that is, until you are forced to.
We could blame our God, since He made us in the first place. However, He gave us free will, and that pretty much explains the mess we’re in now. God wants us to use our free will to be upright, holy and godly. What we do with our free will will be judged by Him when the time comes.
Without Jesus in your life, you can’t win God’s satisfaction. But with Him you can, because in Christ you are changed as you live, you are forgiven, and you are acceptable to Him because of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.
