Do we need to have a feeling before we believe God is there? Do we have to see strange things happening which are unexplainable in ordinary everyday terms? Does something mystical have to happen before we can believe that there's a world just out of our sight? Is God hiding so that we need to hunt for Him?
Those who demand that we pay attention to science only, and not to what they call “superstition”, claiming that science and faith are incompatible, are on very shaky ground. Why? not least because of that which physicists have been discovering, researching and theorizing over for the past hundred and fifty years, about the nature of our physical universe.
Atheists and agnostics mock Christians for worshiping a God who can’t be seen. He isn’t peeping out from behind the clouds, he isn’t sitting on the church roof, he’s never been to university, he doesn't jump when he's told to, and he doesn’t stop people stealing from little old ladies.
