HOW TO REMAKE GOD YOUR WAY…

1: Imagine the kind of god you want, and if you want, make her/him/it an evolving entity:

“I the LORD do not change…” (Malachi 3:6);

2: Name a more acceptable and attractive individual as your “prophet”, guru or avatar:

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12);

3: Write your own lists of things that are right and things that are wrong:

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20);

4: Sweep away the tired, negative old message of the past:

“I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book…”if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book” (Revelation 22:18-19);

5: Be optimistic about the goodness of man and his potential:

“Cursed is the one who trusts in man…” (Jeremiah 17:5-7);

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV);

6: Detach your god from your human sovereignty and destiny:

“For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them” (Exodus 20:6);

7: Disregard the outdated warnings of future consequences of your choices and actions:

“…it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27)
