If Jesus Christ were on the ballots for the upcoming elections in the United States, I would vote for him. Would you?

I have to wonder if, were Jesus there among the options on our ballots, some professing Christians would still stay at home. Would some still be voting instead for the party which promotes and defends gay rights, trans-genderism even in schools and among children, men in women’s bathrooms, abortion for any reason up to and even after birth, war rather than peace talks and negotiation, and centralization and globalization rather than the freedom of the individual? These positions are held by today’s Democratic Party.
Would some people professing to love God prefer to allow millions of un-vetted people from around the globe to cross into our borders, take our jobs and our social security funds, further fracture our culture, and increase serious and violent crime across the nation? This has been Kamala’s position all the way up until recent times when she decided she had to change her mind briefly in order to get elected.
Such policies and attitudes are referred to in the Bible as deception, godlessness and rebellion. These are some of the reasons the God of creation is going to bring judgment on the world, including the United States. Judgment in our case may begin with the collapse of the nation financially, militarily and in terms of health and prosperity, not to mention the end of social cohesion.
Millions of Christians fail to vote at election time. Why? Could it be because Jesus Christ, or the pope, or Kenneth Copeland or Franklin Graham are not on the ballots? This is a serious, terrible mistake. Why? because either way, vote or not, we will have a government, a leader, and a crowd of people making decisions for us: changing our lives, shaping our world, sending our sons and daughters into wars which don’t need to be fought. If you don’t vote for Trump because you think he’s been immoral in his past, or because he’s rude, or because he has orange skin, or because he’s been too successful in business, or because you believe the endless lies of those who have assumed lordship over us-you will by default get the government I outlined above, which will once again raise your taxes, raise inflation, promote immorality and all forms of godlessness, and lie to you with no shame whatsoever, through their own mouths and the mouths of the media they control.
The choice is yours. Do you want a leader who cares for the country, who has a track record of knowing how to improve the economy, who doesn’t agree with your child or grandchild having a sex change at our expense, or do you want to hand the nation, and the free world, over to those who will accelerate our rush towards judgment and disaster?
We can’t vote for Jesus Christ as a political leader (though one day He will be the Lord of all of us). We can, however, help to guide the course of our nation in a way our God would prefer it to go. Our vote is an expression of our heart, and the condition of our heart matters greatly to our God. Pay attention to it.
