Just a few years ago it seemed impossible and unthinkable that we would legalize gay marriage and accept is as “normal”, and facilitate the adoption of children by homosexuals. In the same way it may only be a very short time before another “unthinkable” becomes reality: America bowing to the religion being passed onto it.
Don’t believe me? I only have to look at my country of origin, the United Kingdom, and how-although few admit or even realize -it has already submitted to the point that it would take a miracle to stop the slide. Bear in mind that the goal of Islam is to bring the entire world into submission, then realize that the nation Churchill helped save from Nazi Germany now has Sharia law courts. Mosques have replaced many churches, people have been fired from their jobs or even arrested for expressing alarm, the media kowtows to the movement without question,and the majority of people have for some time been of the opinion that the only enemies of world peace are the United States and Israel. I’ve heard it myself from the lips of many of my former countrymen.
Americans have for so long lived in smug dominance that they are oblivious to the fact that their way of life could be “fundamentally” changed from within, as it surely is being. Couple that with the mainstream media’s blanket and unquestioning support for the current administration and politically correct ideology, and it seems that the slide into amorality could soon be followed by a slide into submission to the religion which plans to take over the world by fair means and foul.
At present there remains a measure of freedom to express and think outside of the PC box, but that freedom is shrinking, and has disappeared in some circles. The self-proclaimed standard bearer of Freedom, the US, is in serious danger of having its torch snuffed out from within.

Sharia law? In the UK? Not in my neck of the woods, and not in Essex, or any of it’s neighbours.
I’m not sure where you got that from mate, but it’s not true. And as for mosques replacing churches, again, I’m not aware this has ever happened here. Sure, there is a mosque in Maldon, at the old Labour hall, but it certainly hasn’t replaced a church. All the churches in Maldon seem to be thriving, especially the brilliant Salvation Army, who don’t just talk about the woes of the poor, but actually do something about it.

Thanks Terry for your view of things. Yes, the Sally Army is still alive (barely) but I’ve seen some of those mosques in the big cities which were once Christian.
The simple fact is that indigenous Brits are reproducing at the rate of something like 1.4 per couple-negative growth-while Muslims not only produce much bigger families but import their extended families and friends too. Many of them fit in well, but they aren’t about to give up their religion and political views: Stealth jihad. Simple math demonstrates that they are on the ascendency, and the stated aim of the Islamic world is to bring us all into compliance.
I realize that groups such as “Factcheck” are “independent” (and who checks them?) and claim to be non-partisan: if only that were a reality in today’s world. It’s just as easy to find reports of the creep into Britain (and all of Europe and the US). For example:

One American city in the US, in an article titled “This Is How it Starts” looked at the creep of Sharia in the UK, beginning with “voluntary” participation only:

Many Sharia law bodies rule on a range of disputes from domestic violence to child residence all of which should be dealt with by UK courts of law.” Instead, “they operate within a misogynist and patriarchal framework which is incompatible with UK legislation.”
And in July 2013, the BBC (of all places) announced a video expose of the Sharia courts:
