Warning! Here comes another extensive rant fueled by hot, steaming passion, guaranteed to drive away my two remaining readers! Once in a while a bloke just has to let off some steam and ramble on about what really hurts his brain like the Dickens: this is such a time…
As I look around at all the rabid efforts to vilify Donald Trump and his supporters, as though they-we-have no right to partake in the political process or to have an opinion, and as I look around at the determination in Washington to remove Trump from office or at the very least to stop his progress and make him look like the biggest crook/buffoon/racist to ever occupy the White House, I can easily draw a line from where we are to the world of the book of Revelation. Truth is, without doubt, being thrown to the ground (Daniel 8:12).
There’s something of an attempted coup taking place in the US, in case you haven’t noticed. Its instigators seem to be hoping it will develop into a full-fledged revolution or civil war. Unfortunately for them Trump has far more support in the real world than they want to believe. Most moderate Democrats, I’m sure, are as uneasy about the whole situation as anyone else is and I think the radicals may well be just shooting themselves in the foot. Let’s hope so!
In any case, if the revolutionaries and their allies get their way, the US and the world will never be the same again. They know that if they can succeed in disposing of the only threat to their socialistic, immoral, West-destroying plans, there will be nothing standing in their path to “fundamental transformation”, since Trump is the only one with a spine and a following to oppose them: many Republicans just want to go with the flow and enjoy their positions.
Trump’s enemies had believed under President Obama that they held the direction of the country in their grip. Marx’s dreams were being realized almost without hindrance: the destruction of the Christian family, globalization, the marginalization of the Church, and the muzzling of all but politically correct speech. Notice that the underclass-those on welfare-were not decreasing in number but increasing, with fifty million people on food subsidies, and the nation doubling its debt in just eight years under Obama.
The election of Trump didn’t dampen the fervor of the revolutionaries: it spurred them on, being supported by the news media giants which are part of the movement. Obama said before the election that it was “dangerous” of Trump to suggest that a national election could be rigged, but as soon as his team lost the election they were attempting to claim it was rigged. No evidence has been found to this effect.
Marx, in his “Manifesto”, stated:
“Communists everywhere…openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions”.
These people rioting in the streets and forcibly silencing speakers who don’t agree with them are not interested in democracy-they want to attain their ends by any means necessary. They want to see an end to the old order and they’re becoming increasingly impatient.
The fundamental transformation of the US was in full swing: trans-gender bathrooms in public schools, gay marriage, tax-payer funded abortion for any reason, dismantled borders, diminishing traditional families, mountains of regulations against small business and privacy growing ever larger, the silencing of dissenters including Catholic nuns, government sympathizers in control of the media and much of higher education, and globalists, including Obama, steering us towards global citizenship under an Islamic flag.
Democracy got in the way. And Trump, accused of just about everything his enemies could think up, against all the odds, the opposition and the attempts to smear him, won the electoral college outright-the constitutional requirement for election. The media and their “deep state” allies then cooked up the post-election “Russia-collusion” charge.
Several secret service agencies have all testified that there’s no evidence of such collusion. So the next investigative attack (which is no less than a witch hunt) besides all the previous accusations still being thrown around and the relentless screams of “racism”, is that Trump tried to obstruct justice in the Russia investigation. Why would he do that, if there was no collusion?
The investigators are being so thorough-poking their noses into everything they can imagine, that they’ll probably soon be examining Trump’s DNA to find out if he has any Russian ancestors. Oh, but that wouldn’t be racism or bigotry of-course. They’re practically gnashing their teeth in desperation to find something-anything-to use as an excuse for impeachment, or at least to turn his voters against him. In centuries past, many heads would have rolled by now as the result of such treason.
If the coup were to succeed, there will be nothing else and no-one else to stop the movement towards Obama’s vision of the nation-or rather the end of it-and the world. Any Republican who may be willing to fight the establishment (are there any?) would be similarly attacked and maligned by our “free” (ha ha) press and the wealthy liberal establishment. All dissenters to their political correctness will be pushed aside, mocked, locked up, silenced, and vilified. Now that’s fascism. Hitler’s Nazis silenced the Church, tightly controlled business, destroyed privacy, locked people up for saying the wrong things, denigrated the value of human life, sided with Muslims against Jews, and held complete control of all media outlets: all the things the liberals were doing and want to continue doing to a greater extent.
If the coup were to succeed, borders will soon be gone, polygamy and pedophilia with consent will be the next taboos to go, and men will marry dogs, cats, ostriches and trees. Free-speech will die, along with many millions more unwanted babies. The Christian gospel will be labeled “hate-speech”. Islam will be put on a fast track to the dominance it seeks, as was Obama’s wish. In fact, Obama may even make a come-back courtesy of his many admirers (Revelation 13:3). Israelis will be pressured heavily into handing over their ancient capital to their enemies. Iran will dominate the Middle-East.
If the coup were to succeed, the UN will be handed US sovereignty on a plate. A super-wealthy liberal elite will rule us all, defended and promoted by the “news” media. Taxes will rise causing food and fuel prices to increase greatly. We will be told what we can and cannot do in every single area of our life except morality which will be a free-for-all. Death panels will decide who gets what medical treatment and who can be born. Racism and sexism will be directed entirely against white men with government approval.
PROPHECY AND PROBABILITY, POLITICS AND APATHY
According to at least one view of Christian theology if we really have faith we shouldn’t worry what happens to our world, because we’re all going to suddenly pop off to heaven in the rapture long before anything nasty happens here on the earth: we don’t need to engage in politics because God has it all in hand anyway, and most importantly, politics is “of the world”. These people believe that it’s a sin to engage in politics-except when it comes to voting “left” of course.
Try telling the hundreds of thousands of Christians murdered or driven from their homes and their nations in Middle-Eastern countries in recent years by political ideology, while the great Obama claimed to be “containing” their murderers, that we should just let any old tyrant take control of our nations and our world. And try telling it to the millions of babies who’ve been ripped from the womb because too many people think it’s “worldly” to engage in a political process which could halt the holocaust, and who won’t support their current president who by his own words is willing and ready to do what he can to stop it.
Yes, I do believe that God is ultimately in control of all things. He was also in control of all things when he sent Moses-a man-to confront Pharaoh. He was in control when Elijah confronted Ahab, when David confronted the Philistines, when John the Baptist confronted Herod, and when Paul appealed to Caesar. Yes lets pray for revival starting with ourselves, but let’s also engage in a political system which was fought for by Godly men to give us the freedom and prosperity we enjoy.
All of the aims of man without God in our age fulfill the warnings in Revelation and Bible prophecy in general: global governance, the persecution of Christians-legal and open in most UN nations already, rampant immorality, global communications and surveillance, a hatred of Jews and particularly Jews in their ancient capital, truth being thrown to the ground, and the dominance of a system which beheads people as a punishment for dissenters.
I’m not saying that all of this will happen immediately after Trump is gone for whatever reason, but extreme liberals in the US and elsewhere are wanting to tip the world in that direction, and most moderates and those on the right are too soft or too unwilling to do or say anything to stop them, for fear of being the targets of tolerant hatred themselves.
