Israel: Taking Sides.

A large portion of the Christian world has fallen for the lie that God is finished with the earthly nation of Israel. To these people, Israel is just another nation., and a guilty one at that. Click the title to read on…

What is Israel guilty of: attempting to defeat the hordes who would slit the throats of their wives and children at the first opportunity? You can’t do that by smiling and hoping the problem will go away.

As a supporter of Israel for the entirity of my Christian life, I say that if you’ve taken sides with the enemies of Israel, you may find yourself being an enemy of God. Yes, let’s pray that peace will reign, and that the murderers will see the error of their ways and repent, but the testimony of Scripture says they will not.

God keeps His promises. If He didn’t, we may as well all forget our phoney faith and depend instead on luck. The promises of God in Scripture foretell an ultimately bright future for that tiny nation. Believe what you want-you are going to see the Lord of heaven and earth bless the nation beyond anything you or I or they can imagine: not because they are good or holy, but because God keeps His promises.

REGATHERING

Scripture foretells a regathering of the exiled Jews and Israelis from all corners of the earth, shortly before the events of such Bible passages as Revelation begin. Not immediately before: the nation is to gather from the nations and grow in population, strength and prosperity before those events take place. How long might that be? Since the invaders, according to Ezekiel, regard the regathering to be recent, it can’t be long in human terms. This process of repopulation and growth has been ongoing for several decades. If Scripture is not in process of fulfillment, then the last several decades have seen an amazing set of coincidences which surely can’t happen again.

The flipside of this, for the nation itself, is that according to Scripture those nations around the regathered Israel will be violently opposed to its existence, as they indeed are. Worse than that yet, the end of the ages will see all nations of the world coming against Israel to finish it off, and to once again steal the land. This, unfortunately, must include the West. And what do we see? We see the nations that once fought the Nazis who were attempting to wipe Jews off the face of the earth, now sympathising with those who want to do the same thing. They will all find themselves on the receiving end of God’s wrath.

I’ve written about these things before, and I’ve listed relevant passages. The subject today is the taking of sides. Whose side are you on? There’s so much propaganda being fed to us by information outlets purporting to be “news” outlets, but which is actually opinion. Are you going to believe them, or are you going to believe the word of God? If you’ll take my advice, you’ll pray for the nation in this difficult time, when it’s once again fighting for its survival.

SO MUCH FUSS OVER A TINY PATCH OF LAND!

Have you seen a map of the world? Can you locate Israel on that map? If you don’t know where it is on the map you’ll have a hard time finding it, because it’s so small. In fact, it’s tiny. I once walked the entire width of its center in less than a day. You can travel from north to south-its longest direction-in just a few hours. How do you defend an area that small against multitudes all around you craving for your violent demise? You do it with the help of God, and with a resolute mind and heart. However, Israel’s ultimate and worst test and trial is yet to come. Whose side will you be on when that happens?

Don’t try to curse the nation that God has promised to bless: you will, I repeat will, be on the losing side. Be wise and pray for them.

Fallen as I am, I’m on the Lord’s side. And as fallen as the nation of Israel is-as our own nations are-I’m on the side of Israel. May God defend them against their enemies.
