Traditionally the voter looked to his or her government to provide quality education, peace and security, good roads, affordable food and housing, justice, and safety on the streets. Failing all of the above, and in stark contrast, Biden’s State of the Union address focused on ramping up war with Russia, increasing abortion rights, and protecting the “rights” of trans children. It was a speech of death. It was a speech of rebellion against our Creator.
Nothing can be gained by stirring up nuclear war or any kind of war. War should be a last resort-after all other options have failed. Nothing can be gained by trashing love and natural affection, or by slicing and dicing or dissolving millions more babies in the womb. And nothing can be gained by denying our basic physical nature.
The current government in the United States is, so far as I can tell, the most corrupt in the history of the United States, and probably many other nations also. What’s worse is that they have no ability to feel shame, and no ability to access any conscience they may have left. Can that “man of sin” be far behind?
Look into Scripture and find that the kingdoms of this world are currently ruled over-ultimately-by the prince of darkness. He’s certainly found willing servants in recent times. We are now ruled, in the West, by ministers of darkness.
Are we now locked on course towards the end of Western civilization-the civilization which gave us prosperity, health, electricity, manned flight, the potential of food for all, the freedom to vote, and freedom of speech? Only a fair and true election this year can avoid it, unless our Creator sees fit to otherwise rescue us from this insanity. But Scripture suggests otherwise.
We need the final solution. The final solution is to repent of our own sin, and to trust ourselves as individuals to the one and only Son of God, Jesus Christ. He alone will bring judgment to all who have bowed to that dark prince, and salvation and life to all who have accepted God’s mercy.
