I'm aware that you almost can't believe anything you hear or see these days, in traditional or streaming media. Truth is almost entirely out of style, and that's the truth. I therefore recently listened with due skepticism to another video about "new findings" in the world of geology.
The phrase, "the tip of the iceberg" is a common metaphor for things of consequence which are only visible or detectable in part. In comparison they are almost entirely beneath the surface, unseen and unappreciated. The most significant fact of course, as the sad story of the Titanic tells us, is that the unseen part is every bit as real and as solid as that which is seen. So it is with life itself.
When will the Church Age end? Will it end at all? This post critiques another assertion of pre-Tribulation rapture theology - one which I blindly accepted and promoted for many years.
When you hear people protest that the Christian gospel was all constructed, exaggerated or augmented centuries after the time Jesus Christ lived is said to have lived in, or when you hear cultists say that the facts have been changed many times over the centuries and you need to leave your church and join theirs, you should know that these claims and accusations are unfounded.
Is the New Testament and the Bible we now read completely different to what was originally written, so that we can't rely on it? This is the claim of skeptics and cults alike, but there are answers to their accusations, and very good ones.
