I made the mistake the other day of tuning in, briefly, to NPR “news”: Nefarious Propaganda Radio. It really isn’t news: it’s opinion dressed as news. Within thirty seconds of listening, which is the maximum time it normally takes for me to detect propaganda on NPR news, I was hearing support for Hamas funded by the tax-payer, and how the brave “freedom fighters” will “regain their homeland” eventually.
Never mind the fact that Israelis were already in the land three thousand years ago, and only left for a time because the Romans, ancestors of the white West which leftists hate so much but live in anyway, destroyed their homeland and killed over a million Jews in Jerusalem. They drove survivors into exile and renamed the land “Palestine”, a reference to the Philistines, as a final insult to the Jews .
Never mind that the alleged “freedom fighters” of Hamas murdered and raped in cold blood well over twelve hundred Israelis including women and children. Never mind that they have vowed in their own charter to totally destroy Israel.
There can be no peace with someone who has vowed to destroy you simply because you exist.
I’m not the first to notice that the politically extreme Left and radical Islam make strange bedfellows (a Freudian slip there). Extreme Islamists believe in one god, persecute gay people, and use violence to get their way, which ultimately is to take away all our freedoms, unless you count the “freedom” to worship their god. Leftists wish to mentally emasculate men and confuse the genders, and yet those who murder in cold blood and rape young women are, to them, somehow admirable men who should receive our tax money.
Could it be that having done their best to eradicate and shame “toxic masculinity” and men who are openly attracted to women, far-left-leaning women and the men who follow them after all find themselves attracted to strong men who know what they want? Oddly, the men of Israel are not supposed to be men and so defend their families and their country. It’s only selected heroes who are honored for their strength and bravery, while the rest of us are expected to whimper.
