Today I’m re-launching a series of posts on the subject of speaking in tongues. My motivation is to help correct a huge error in the Church which is at best a mistaken belief and at worst a demonic deception and a mockery of God. These articles are intended for those who are genuinely asking what the true nature of this spiritual gift is, and whether it’s a vital part of the Christian’s walk with the Lord. They’re also intended as a challenge to those who believe they have more power in the spiritual realm because they are convinced that they have the gift.
The measuring stick for these articles is the Bible. If you believe that God is doing something new and you are prepared to ignore what He did and said in the past, you are making a very big mistake.
