Paul, in addressing a false teaching going around in his day which claimed that the Day of the Lord had already come and gone, speaks of two things which will unmistakably precede and mark the commencement of the real Day of the Lord. Then, while expounding on these two signs, he says that some will believe "the lie". What is the nature of this future untruth?
Could Jesus Christ come for His Church today or tomorrow, in a surprise rapture event, leaving planes to fall from the sky and empty cars to crash in traffic? The Institute for Creation Research recently aired an interview with geologist Dr. Timothy Clarey, in which many major issues of the creation/evolution debate were touched upon. I decided to summarize this video (note 1) partly because I've taken interest in creation geology since I've been a professing Christian, and partly because I think there are many people around the world who never get a chance to hear or read such evidence in support of Biblical Scripture.
