Isn't it sexist to be discussing manhood and a binary division imposed by a past oppressive society? Isn't it small-minded and exclusionary? After all, gender distinctions are being erased, right? In answer, I have no intention of being divisive, except perhaps to divide reality from nonsense; truth from foolishness; light from darkness, and God from the one who wants to destroy or to trash all that God has made.
How many people across the Western world have convinced themselves that the God of the Bible can't be the real God, because they're sure that the real God would do things differently?
Perhaps a majority of people have submitted their lives and their eternal destinies to the idea that we all evolved from nothing, via some sort of single-celled organism, then a fish, a lemur-like creature, and an ape-like animal which eventually learned to walk on two legs.
Who, besides me, has a stack of passwords, pins and usernames recorded on paper because they can't possibly all be remembered?
A Facebook friend of mine who's a pastor recently shared a quote from someone he looks up to. It went something like this: "If I have all my doctrine right but have not love, I am nothing".
