One of the greatest stories of history is now largely ignored, not only in secular circles but in the Church. Shame on the Church! I for one will proudly and loudly stand up and defend the Biblical Flood - worldwide and catastrophic.

Tea and Relativity
It's heart-warming to remember that I grew up in the land of tea-times and time lords, Big Ben, hot-cross-buns and Queen Elizabeth II. In that kinder, culturally richer world I knew a lovely English gentleman who, always anxious to be punctual, would spur people on by politely saying, "Time and tide, time and tide". This is an abstract of the pithy proverb, "Time and tide wait for no man", which apparently pre-dates not only Shakespeare but the modern English language.
Fake Miracles Shrink God
Throughout the gospels Jesus Christ is seen to give sight to the blind, make the lame walk, raise the dead, walk on water and feed thousands. Today many Christians are determined to hold to the notion that they are doing miracles in their churches and on the streets, when in fact they are belittling the name of Christ, the glory of Christ and the true power of God.

In the "Great Commission" Jesus told his disciples that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them. What exactly did he mean by "power"? What kind of power would it be, and what would it be used for?
Jesus’ Love for John Defined
It's widely believed or recognised that Jesus had a special love for John above all his disciples. John was, after all, "the disciple whom Jesus loved" (John 13:23). What does this mean? Does it mean, as some claim, that there was some sort of homosexual tension or even interaction between the two?
