Stand Strong, Men
Isn't it sexist to be discussing manhood and a binary division imposed by a past oppressive society? Isn't it small-minded and exclusionary? After all, gender distinctions are being erased, right? In answer, I have no intention of being divisive, except perhaps to divide reality from nonsense; truth from foolishness; light from darkness, and God from the one who wants to destroy or to trash all that God has made.

Tongues Can’t Make You Into A Greater Witness: Part 6 of Six Things The Gift of Tongues Cannot Do.
According to some Christians you can't be an effective, powerful witness unless you as a believer go on to get baptized in the Spirit after your conversion and speak in tongues. If you don't speak in tongues, you're only half baked, they think, and you have little power to witness to the world. I intend to show here that this is faulty theology, and it's a theology which creates an ungodly, unnecessary and prideful class structure within the Church.
Tongues Don’t Help in Healing
I've witnessed many who claim to have the gift praying over or for sick people in tongues, believing that in so doing they are more likely to be healed. I've seen no evidence that they're right.
