I listened to "Mitochondria", an episode of "In Our Time", initially out of interest and the will to learn something while I was driving. I actually gained a lot more than I expected, and the podcast has provided me with another article of eye-opening realization.
The subject of healing within the Christian world is huge and nebulous: this post is intended to be a broad comment and not a detailed or exhaustive analysis. It's also intended for people who are genuinely seeking facts and who may be disillusioned because what they see doesn't match their expectations.
Isn't it interesting that you can at the same time want your foot to go one way and yet make it go another. You can want to do something and yet not want to do it.
At this election time I'm finding it more and more necessary to look to my God for hope and for the correct perspective. Most people think the biggest question facing humanity is who should be elected, or how we're going to stop the glaciers melting, or where we can get enough food to feed everyone on earth. These all pale into insignificance compared to the most fundamental problem we humans face...
