Throughout history great and mighty civilizations have fallen, not primarily because of outside pressure, but because of internal rot. Unless Christ returns first, it looks like the once Christian West is the next to go.
Someone I was raised with lives in the United Kingdom while I, having spent the first half of my life in England, live in the United States as a U.S. citizen. He is one of the millions in the UK and in Europe as a whole who have been convinced that our American president, Donald Trump, is a rabid racist who is imposing an authoritarian regime on the United States, and who has designs on the rest of the world. The extreme nonsense of this view demonstrates just how far gone to the dark side the United Kingdom is. While thousands of brave souls resist by raising the various flags of the kingdom in a recent revival of sorts, the government and the media has a firm grip on the minds of the masses. It will take far more than flying a few flags to save dear old England now.
As I told my brother, there is no racism in the United States apart from what every free society suffers from. Trump has not added to it and has no intention of doing so. What he has done is to attack the causes of rampant violent crime: the very thing most westerners claim to want politicians to do. He’s successfully closed the borders to illegal crossings, ending the invasion of our country by literally millions of people over recent decades, an invasion which was carried out at taxpayer expense.
In the United Kingdom politicians seek election by promising the same yet doing nothing once in power. “There’s nothing we can do” they claim, while literally hundreds of thousands of young men from cultures hostile to the West pour in. Natives have their rights trodden on and their freedom of expression compromised, while the newcomers hold true to their religion’s intention to rule the world for their god, at the blessing of the land they have invaded.
I’m saddened to see the attitudes of almost all those I once knew and associated with in past decades, as they blindly march like lemmings towards a fate foretold millennia ago in books such as Revelation. Their eyes are closed to the problem preparing to knock their front door down. They’ve been blinded by lies – lies designed to divide a once powerful civilization, to fool people into accepting the plans and schemes of an insanely ambitious elite; to bring down the once Christian world and hand it over to a centuries old enemy. British politeness appears to finally be the death of itself. No longer does metal and a stiff upper lip rule the waves.
Perhaps I am being a little pessimistic here, but it seems to me that once the haters of all that is civilized, tested and true get a grip on the United States again in future times, and once they no longer have a man of steel such as Trump to deal with, the West will sink like an old battleship that just has too many holes to keep it afloat.
God will not be mocked. The direction of the West is in keeping with His warnings of end times events. What appears to be in process now is not only a consequence of the rejection of God who made the West great despite its failings, but it’s a judgment waiting to fall by His hand. That judgment will fall because of such rejection, but also because of the way western nations are preparing to deal with tiny Israel, fighting for its survival. Not a righteous nation, it’s still one which God has planned to use as one tool to execute that judgment, and ultimately to bless in keeping with His promises. Curse Israel: incur the wrath of God. The cause and effect is blatantly obvious to anyone not blinded by the father of lies.
