For those of you in a hurry, here's the gist of my essay today: It is faith in God that we need, not faith in healers. God is able to do all things, but He does not, and He is under no obligation to do what we ask or demand. Humanity and nature is under a Curse. God can and will heal, if it's within His will.

Dear reader, we are in a, or the, age of deception, in which Jesus Christ is being mis-represented, mis-quoted, diminished, maligned, and impersonated. We need to look to the the Scriptures to see what Jesus is really like, what he really said, what he really did and what he really will do. We also need to heed his warnings about our time, and to not go the way of those who put the words of deceietful man and docrtines of demons above the words of our Lord.

Obsession with the Holy Spirit Diminishes Jesus Christ.

In our time an obsession with the Holy Spirit, and a faulty peception of the work of the Holy Spirit, rules in a large percentage of the professing Church. It's reached such a level that many Christians will hardly talk about Jesus, or about the Father: it's all about the Spirit. Is this the work of God, or is something else going on?

Many people, and particularly those of the atheistic persuasion, insist that Christians are living and operating on blind faith. We depend on superstition; we wallow in ignorance; we haven't evolved our brains to the next level yet as they clearly have, and we ignore science and reason because we're afraid to die, and in order to have meaning in our lives. Are they correct?
