It's common to hear people complain that the Bible has been changed many times over the years, so that it's unreliable. This is the way many people attempt to dismiss all that Scripture tells us, and sometimes to shut us up. The temptation for the undetermined believer is to then be silenced, or to abandon the testimony of Scripture and go it alone.

The Last Fundamentalist
I've no stomach for legalism, and were you to know some of my grey areas - the things I see no Scriptural condemnation for - you may in turn be disgusted with me. However, when it comes to plain Biblical statements and sound doctrine and logic, it's time to follow the word of truth.
Seeking God
I sometimes look around at all the people living in our world, and wonder at their complete detachment from God. The majority, particularly in the Western world, go about their lives with no interest in knowing the God of the Bible. They're far more interested in what's for dinner tonight, or how to pay for that new car, or how to start up a relationship with that favored person of the contrary (or same) gender.

If you're a Christian believer, how would the apparent confirmation of life from another world affect your faith? Feelings are mixed in this regard, with some being convinced that as the universe is so vast, God has surely created other life-supporting worlds out there. Others see the existence of alien beings as a threat to their faith and to the truth of Scripture, which says nothing about God creating other worlds.
