Many prophecy “experts” within the evangelical Christian world continue to cling doggedly to the conviction that the kingdom of the Beast spoken of in Revelation will be a “Revived Roman Empire”, based in Western Europe, with the European Union as its likely immediate progenitor. Another Jesus
Dear reader, we are in a, or the, age of deception, in which Jesus Christ is being mis-represented, mis-quoted, diminished, maligned, and impersonated. We need to look to the the Scriptures to see what Jesus is really like, what he really said, what he really did and what he really will do. We also need to heed his warnings about our time, and to not go the way of those who put the words of deceietful man and docrtines of demons above the words of our Lord.
Faith and Feelings
A large number of Christians are dependent on feelings as a measure of their walk with the Lord. If they have warm, fuzzy, tingly feelings, or if they're losing control of their bodies, they think the Holy Spirit must be present. The corollary, then, is that if they're not losing control, and if they don't have those feelings, the Lord is not there. This, dear readers, is not the fulfilment of faith: it's the opposite of faith.
