A large percentage of people among the general public are sure that scientists can create life in the lab, and that scientists know how life evolved from non-life. The opposite is true: they have no truly scientific idea which can hold water.

It's the conviction that there are such things as absolute good and absolute evil; that the two are in complete opposition, and that the good can and will ultimately prevail.

The shooting of former President Trump was no surprise to many of us.
