Two human traits which are most corrosive and ugly when operating together are ignorance and arrogance. People who are both ignorant and arrogant tend to assume that you are the ignorant one. They may have more respect if you have letters after your name, but not if you don't think as they do. We need to stand our ground internally so as not to be drawn into their desire to diminish our self-respect and our confidence.
People often use the words "knowledge" and "wisdom" without distinguishing between them. While the two are closely related, they don't have quite the same meaning. According to the Cambridge Dictionary wisdom is"... the ability to use your knowledge and experience to make good decisions and judgments". This is perhaps a definition of human wisdom at its best. You can have all the knowledge in the world but without wisdom you're prone to making mistakes.
Reason is not the enemy of Christian faith, it is a vital and indispensable part of it.
