The point of these opening quotes is to share my conviction that it’s time to speak out while speaking out is still possible. I know this is probably sounding rather extreme and alarmist, but what I want to say is that it’s time to be spiritually prepared for what may be-I say may be-just around the corner…
The time is coming, and is probably already here, when free speech as the West has known it will be no more. If you aren’t on the correct side of political and social issues, you will be at the very least ostracized; at the most imprisoned and financially stripped, and eventually, you could be, in the words of the Cybermen (above)Â “Deleted”. To those of you already completely overcome by the P.C. virus, I must say that this reference to certain fictional non-human characters is a rhetorical device only: I’m not suggesting that earth is going to be invaded by the Cybermen!
Unfortunately a lot of our church leaders (but certainly not all) have either accepted the wickedness of man as being acceptable practices, or have gone silent for fear of making waves. They have also abandoned Scripture as being authoritative. Preaching is now mostly eisegesis rather than exegesis: giving a man-made view of life and God and even scripture and using one or two verses to back up the ideas. Worship now seems more like entertainment. As many have pointed out, the reason for the current state of our culture is substantially that the church has allowed itself to become corrupted or silenced.

Political correctness has been almost given free rein until a couple of years ago. It took a billionaire with considerable intestinal fortitude to stand up and be counted, and to attempt to pull the United States back from the death of free-speech, and the precipice of globalism and moral decay. “We will say “Merry Christmas again!” (if we want to) he promised. Millions have rallied to him, as I have, because here for the first time in who-knows-how-long, someone is prepared to say and do what needs to be said and done about many things, and to brave the barrage of opposition and hatred which comes as a result. I do hope and pray that his efforts and courage will have lasting effects on our world, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
The problem is that we may already be too close to that proverbial precipice, largely because the bulk of our secular media and entertainment industry is firmly on the side of those wishing to upend our culture and hand it over to Satan. Ooh! That’s a strong accusation, isn’t it? Yes, it is, and it happens to be Biblical too. They-the media and their faultless Party and its supporters in Washington, almost succeeded in selling the “Russia collusion” fraud and carrying out a soft coup. Their myriad other attempts to bring down a president have so far failed, except to keep his ratings down among some voter groups. If the so-called “free media” can do such things and get away with it, and and after all, with truly free-speech they are allowed to lie if they are so inclined: what will they do next?
Our current president will not be in that position for any more than five more years, and what will happen once he’s gone? How will the radicals now pushing themselves and their morally corrupt and perverted ways onto the rest of us deal with us and our country once they gain power again? Judging by their far more open anger; their willingness to come clean with their extreme goals; their lies and their total lack of shame, it’s not going to be pleasant.
One way in which I planned to write this post was to title it, “The Party of the Beast”. It could also be titled, “The Media of the Beast”, or “The Hour of the Beast”. All those titles would be true, to my mind. Read Revelation and related passages and you’ll find that the radicals in our nation and in the Western world; those pushing for the demise of Western principles of government and freedom, and of history-long norms, have the same goals as the government of the Beast will have, when he arrives.
Who is “the father of lies” according to Jesus (John 8:44)? The answer is obvious, and a media (including social media) which promotes lies and falsehoods, while claiming to be informing the public, is serving its father and its own bias, and not the people or the nation. They are the real traitors.
The Party and the people of the Beast will not care for honesty: they will get what they want in any way necessary (Daniel 8:12). They will not care for the law-legal or moral (2 Thessalonians 2:3). They will not care for the value of life (Revelation 13:15). They will hate Christianity and Christ’s faithful followers (Revelation 12:17; 13:7). They will hate Israel and its supporters (Zechariah 12:3; Revelation 12:13). They will defend the immoral and the lawbreakers (Revelation 9:21).
They will be accusers, just as their father is (Revelation 12:10). They will work for globalization and the end of nationality (Daniel 2:43). They will want total governmental control over all financial transactions-in a global context (Revelation 13). They will demand a global religion, and hate Christianity and Judaism (Revelation 13).
Don’t let the world blind you to these alarm bells: be wary and be spiritually prepared in Jesus Christ. Share your faith, knowing that doing so might not always be allowed or possible without consequences.
